refreshing is a day off.
refreshing is waking up to cool, crisp, fall like weather
and opening all the windows in the apartment and shutting off the air conditioning.
refreshing is finishing a hard workout before 8am-
and following it up with a medium blueberry dunkin iced coffee.
and the best bowl of overnight oats I’ve ever made.
I mean it- 1/3 cup oats, 1/2 banana mashed, 1/3 cup coconut chobani (non-moldy, I swear), 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, squeeze of lime juice, 1 tbl. flax, 2 tbl. coconut blue diamond almonds, 1 tbl. sunbutter.
and lunch (omg this sandwich you guys. I followed THIS recipe but added avocado and used a cranberry chutney I recently purchased instead of a balsamic glaze. I served it alongside a cup of red pepper tomato soup mixed with more brussels and multigrain crackers).
refreshing is beautiful, non-humid weather.
refreshing is today.
